Mining, Sailing and dirt bikes, Have been using metal detectors since about 1965. 1st find a ladies watch while visiting salt lake beach. Started gold mining activities early 70's panning sluicing, dredging and of course metal detecting. Started in Redding Ca.placer mining Summit City, Shasta Lake, Clear creek as well as trinity mountain range rivers diving for Gold . spent time on the feather river as well as the George town area, Finds include Gold,Platinum and uraininite!. Gold was less than $30 an once back in those early days, so it was just a hobby. But even so I was bit by the bug" gold fever "!. I still am today, but the new technology ,pulse induction etc has reopened my old haunts. Well enough about this older fellar! Gents enjoy "THE HUNT IS ON! WOOHOO!
