The SE Pro is still available from Kellyco and probably any other ML dealer, but I don't recomdend it for gold.

IMO ML needs to build a lighter weight detector with internal batt. pack so this contraption would not be necessary

If it were chained to a tree I doubt if any one would steal it.. Not many people out in the wild have bolt cutters and vandals are mostly in the city, maybe a greenie might think it shouldn't be used tho. If it were well hidden it probably would never be seen.

Looks like it would make it inconvenient to adjust the GB on the go ( some places the ground changes often ) and use the disc sw. Wouldn't work for me, lot of the time I need to keep my finger on the GB.

Thanx Rob; The 3000 coils are Coiltec open spider oval about 18 or 20 inches by about 10" and the other is a Nugget Finder solid appox. 14x8" ,the third is stock mono. What can you tell me about the 2 after mkt coils ? Duke

I think it may be that the present Performance may come in a smaller and lighter package, maybe one you won't have to wear.

Have located a 3000 and a Extreme for the same price. The 3000 comes with 3 coils, the Extreme with two stock coils DD & mono

Looks like vein material, the red/ brown is probably iron oxide. Crush some of it and pan it out.
