  1. I had this identical issue with my now sold 4000 with both headphones and my external speaker. I sent the detector back for service to Minelab about 10 months ago but they could not correct it. I have not experienced it with the new 4500 .. yet.
  2. Sorry, EBay made me put the listings up a second time. Here are the corrected links: ATV Trailer
  3. Selling my prospecting ATV and trailer on EBAY here: ATV Trailer
  4. I also got the same report from a friend who made it to the pushes. He said that there are high winds today and that the heat is unbearable.
  5. Oops, sorry. Steve already posted the manual link.
  6. Jonathan, The majority of us very much appreciate your real world evaluations of Minelab products and your willingness to share your insights. Based upon my prior GP ownership experiences, I have absolute faith that each new GP series detector will have improvements and refinements that make it worthy of the upgrade. My 4500 was on order and my 4000 sold the instant I heard of the impending release. My 4000 was such a tremendous improvement over my 3500 for the conditions in which I detect that I cannot wait to see what the 4500 can do! Thanks again! As for those that would continue to whine and complain like little girls with every new release of a new GP series unit, I have to say "get over it"! Minelab appears to release something new every 18 months like clockwork. Hell, I even put it on my calendar now and plan for it. If you don't like how Minelab does business, buy something else. I'll be out there finding the gold you couldn't even hear with old or poorly designed technology and it's getting tougher every day!
  7. Why not just bid on my auction? Lots of high quality photos, a great deal and you'll get exactly what is listed! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...E:IT&ih=017
  8. My Minelab GPX-4000 and Whites MXT - Both with many extras & accessories now on EBay here: 4000: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...E:IT&ih=017 MXT: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=270218980616
  9. We just got back from the pushes yesterday with my repaired Durango running like a top. Unfortunately, we had a little incident with a boulder that pushed the radiator off it's mounts and into the fan on Friday afternoon as we were heading to the Congress planted nugget hunt. Thanks so much to all that stopped to help us as we were stranded at Decision Corner trying to figure out the problem for about 1/2 an hour. We managed to limp back to Stanton without any engine damage and flat bedded the truck to Wickenburg on Monday AM. Special thanks to Rob A, Rick and Bob Dansie who kindly provided us rides throughout the weekend to the pushes. Elly gave us a ride to Wickenburg to pick up the truck on Monday afternoon and we had a wonderful dinner with her. She has some great stories!! Final nugget tally for us was the single .4 gram nugget for me and a nice specimen piece for my buddy Willi. This is my 6th trip to "the hill" and unlike some other friends, I have not been skunked yet!
  10. A beautiful day today with a little wind and temps in the 80's. The Desert Special claims only saw a few nuggets found but one was at least 1/2 OZ . We all went around the hill at 1PM and hit the other 5 pushes hard for 6 hours. There were surprisingly few nuggets found that I heard of. I know that Steve & Kitty got 5 pieces between them on push 2, Rob A got one tiny one and I got one little .4 gram piece on push #2. No big pieces that I am aware of on 4 or 5. I would guess that there were about 100 members in attendance. We'll see what happens tomorrow! On a side note, I am sitting here at Stanton using my cell phone for internet access via Bluetooth Dial Up Networking to my notebook. Talk about being connected everywhere!
  11. Anyone have more detailed info on what was found by the regular 24K members on the new pushes on the West side of Rich Hill? I spoke with Elly and she said that about half a dozen small nuggets had been found since last Sunday. Thanks.
  12. Steve, It was great to meet you and Kitty! I left mid-day on Saturday since the heat and bugs were nasty. I ended up with 5 for the week. Glad I finally joined 24K. I'll see you guys at the pushes in October. Michael
