  1. Thanks Managed to squeeze a skunk buster out yesterday for point 2 gram. More nuggets to you all!!
  2. Was watching some TV yesterday and I was like this show is keeping me from the gold. So I got my Minelab GpZ 7000 charged up and headed out to find some metal. I dug a couple bullets and then got a sweet mellow sound that turned out to be a half gram nugget. Now it was on and the rake came out so I could get closer to the ground by removing the top layer. After the raking I got a nice signal in the middle of the raked area and out came a 5.5 gram nugget. Great trip out hope you all are finding nice nuggets!!!
  3. Nice fat nugget, congratulation on finding a new spot!! Love it when you get to see them in-situ, well done. Makes me want to get out and dig;))
  4. Loving the 6k Rob, thanks for the great service as always!! The 7k does go deeper but the 6k is a joy to swing and rings out great on smaller gold. More nuggets than flakes to you all!!
  5. Got out for some detecting with the Gpx 6000 recently and scored some nice gold and good scenery too. Hope you all are enjoying getting out and finding some good gold.
  6. Big thanks Bob!! So true about learning your equipment and using it often helps too. Lots of targets to dig, hopefully your next is golden!!
  7. I took the plunge and purchased a GpX 6000 from Rob's Detectors. Hit the gold trail and started to dig targets and get used to the new machine. Three trips later I had some tiny dirty lil nuggets. Thanks for another great detector Rob!! Rob always has the best deals. I have had the detector since about March 10th and it's a keeper, 8 grams so far from a beat up patch. Best of luck more nuggets than bottle caps to you all;))
  8. Great looking gold, hope the patch gives up more for you!!
  9. If you can get out with Ray do it. He is a good guy and knows gold very well.
  10. Sold my GPZ 7000 and feeling a little bitter sweet about it. The Z found my 1st over 1 OZT nugget, was 1.2 ozt and many smaller ones. Only real down side to the Z is the weight, other than that loved it. So any of you trying the 6000 out? How do you like it whats the good and the ugly..lol?
  11. SDC sure picks out some good gold!! Way to go on putting your coil in the right direction.🤩
  12. Very sad thing to loose a good one so soon. I was really hoping it would end better than it did while the search was on going. Any word on what went wrong or any info that might help others in the extreme environmental conditions we chase gold. Such a tragedy.
