  1. Nice nuts, DWT is the standard for weigh gold right? I have for over 20 years.
  2. Thanks for the insight, Are there any top notch clubs in this area one would recommend?
  3. I bought the Black Widows from Rod years ago, never any problems and love them.
  4. I would take it the no one has heard of this local club, might be a sign not to join. They look to have been around a while and have claim on Castle Hot Springs road I think.
  5. Does any one have experience with this club? Looks to be by Wickenburg. They state they have common digs, that looks fun.
  6. Yes, you want to screen into 30, 60, 80, 100. Most plus 30 is easy to get. You can use a garden hose but a small bilge pimps works best so you have no surge in flow. The idea is it take more flow to move the gold than black sand, since black sand is lighter it will walk up the center cone while gold sits at the base. How much cons are you looking to process?
  7. If your goal is to get all the gold you want to use the Blue Bowl, most CA dredger prefer as it has a better rate of recovery.
  8. Thanks Bob,I'm just concerned if it could be toxic.
  9. I'm sure with all the miners here some one knows something??
  10. Went out today exploring and found this stuff. Any one know what it is? It was at an old mine in the Bradshaws.
  11. Last year Dakota Fred and Melody, and Steve Pomreke were there. Any plan celebs this year?
  12. My suggestion is grid, mark say 2 to 3 different 20 by 50 spots. Different areas of course. Clean everything loud you here quickly, then go over it again. Listening for faint targets. I not sure how you detect but if your roaming you may never find gold. Lead sounds a lot like gold so if you hear lead you'll hear gold. The reason I do this is if I hit lots of loud trash in a small area my hearing doesn't adjust as well to faint deep targets. Good luck, keep us posted.
  13. I don't completly understand the market. The GP Extreme is an amazing detector. With every new detector going way up in price you would think the older models would quit sliding in value. But I guess there is the law of supply and demand. If I knew someone who had on with a few coils I think I'd pay $1600 - $2000 if I were in the market. Of course I would have to know the person to know the detector history or if someone like Doc put a personal gaurntee. They would not hold that value on ebay in my mind.
  14. What is the best method for remove the dull glaze that is on gold after it has Mercury removed?
  15. If you listen careful it burns rubber while swiching gears at 109 mph. Amazing.
