It depends on which button you mounted on. Mine is a "mom. on" button, so I have to keep it pressed to ground balance. I prefer it in this way 'cause it is not possible to fgrget it pressed and continue to ground balance even when it is not necessary or you could cancel good targets.

I had a question for you if its oK.

I did the fast track mod to my Sd 2200v2 but am new with the detector.My question is do you have to hold down the switch the whole time you are pumping the coil or just press it momentarily and pump for 5 seconds?
