  1. Ok I have the photos of both Nuggets we are going to raffle off so far. I have a photo of the front and back of each one and then one of the two of them next to a quarter. They both are just under 1/4 OZ each. I will post the Raffle info this week. It will let you know of the start date and finish date of the raffle. We are going to sale raffle tickets for 1.00 each. And you will have two chances to win a nugget. The one that draws the first winning ticket can pick what nugget they want and the next ticket drawn will get the other nugget. We will give each dollar you spend a number. We will give you the numbers you have been giving and record them on the computer as well as in a note book. Then at the end of the deadline we will video two of my children drawing the two lucky tickets. We will then post the names of the lucky ticket holders and send you the Gold.
  2. Another Nugget is on the way from a guy in texas. So now you will have a better chance at winning a Nugget if you purchase. I also have some more offers of nuggets so we will see how this ends up. That is why you guys on the forums are the best guys around.
  3. I am going to be holding a nugget raffle for my friends that were in the plane crash. I will post a photo of it right now for all to start thinking about and dreaming about. I am still waiting to gain the OK on a couple more forums to post the raffle on those as well so we can set a start date and finish date. When all is final i will have ROB post it as a pinned post. 4.5 dwt = 6.9 grams, close to a 1/4 ounce. http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh293/j...etraffle002.jpg http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh293/j...etraffle001.jpg Here is the family I am doing this for. The mother was burned over 80% of her body and the father was burned ove 30% of his body they have four young children and they are both in the Maricopa burn unit.
  4. I do not understand this one at all. No matter what the shell never fires out of the gun with the lead. That sure looks like a shell to me and not the bullet its self.
  5. just put the cartridge in a vice. If the shell is containd it can not become a weapon. Turn the open end away from face and pry open. It will not go off just from prying open if you use something brass that will not spark you should be fine. I can't wait to see the gold inside this shell. I agree with Ron at that weight you have gold in that thing. I pick up every crimped shell in hopes it will be the one.
  6. Yes he said he has a few drywashers so contact him through his site inf or maybe through Rods site.
  7. Rob i sent him a pm on Rods site. russ has a site at Russfordprospecting.com He has an ebay store and an online store. His site shows lots of drywashers, But i think he had a couple used ones the last time i talked to him , But i could be wrong.
  8. I think he will still run an internet store but i am not for sure, Plus he wants to get the beck dry washers up and selling again.
  9. Grubstake that is the first photos of your Trike i have seen. It sure is a clean one. WOW a GPX 4000. I am trying to get me a 2100 or 2200 again. someday i will have one of the big boys to use. but untill then i will just try to get another SD.
  10. Yep once you relise you have a jaguar you are to pull your hounds and go away. I doubt i would ever run a hunt for one even if it were ok. The rare site is enough for me. With all my time in the southers part of the state i have never seen one like this. I have seen a black on the san pedro river while i was in highschool. A guy killed one of those one time and he still does not have rights to hunt in AZ and that was over 16 years ago. Here is one taken out of the rencons
  11. Here is a photo of another kind of cat we have in our southern Arizona country. This was photo taken by an old friend of our family. He is an old time lion hunter and hired by the game and fish to help track the life of the great cats in AZ. This was a photo he took not to long ago.
  12. Hey Grubsteak I hope it has not affected your memory so bad that you can not remember i am paid in full for three days hunting lessons with you. Well even if it did I am sure you will honor it do to my being an honest man. Get well soon, And i hope you are back out swinging the detector soon.
  13. With the price of those 4000's mine would be insured
  14. I have outfitted half my plumbing tools from the freeway in the valley. (FREE) way. Anyways I have a 4,6,8,10and a 30 foot extention ladder. One hand held stihl concreet cutting saw, Dewalt three speed right angle drill. Coming back from and going the payson area before and after a big camping weekend can be good as well. But a Minelab 4000 would just kill you to know it is lost. I hope if anyone finds it they try and find the owner.
