  2. It's yours vini if you want it just pick it up or I'll be down in fresno within a week or 2.Sunday I'll be at my old mans place in coarsegold. You'll need to find the drivers for the lan card it's an abit board socket 462(socket a) nf7-sg2 and is still supported by abit just go to their website and download the driver with your system and move it to this one. If I have time i'll do it. It also has a dlink nic card so you could find the drivers for that too which ever. I also grabbed a emachines tower that powers up ecycling is cool there is a drive in that one it's a maxtor. Not sure how big I'll bring that too. you can format it and use it for you system. Funny part about this system is all that happened was bios hung up on it. I would do a bios update if it's availible on abit's site.Took 2 seconds to make it come back up just shorted the pin next to the battery and it lit up. I feel sorry for folks that throw away good stuff for no reason but heck it works out for us huh? Dan and I also just did a conversion for the 4 inch. I can't remember did you need a new header box for your 4 in or was that the 3in? If it's the 4in let me know we can work something out. Heck why I'm at it I have a gold bug 2 and the 5in gould bazooka I'm going to get rid of. You know anybody looking down your way? Jay
  3. Well just got off the phone with Gary he said he's going to be up and running soon. Had a new tower for him but he's waiting on a laptop. Anybody else need a computer tower? It's a atholon xp 2400 2ghz chip gig ram 120 gig hard drive Win xp and it has a creative sound blaster input for instruments and whatnot pick up only. Jay
  4. Mountianmamma, I haven't posted in a while but I live up in Yosemite. There are quite a few folks around your area that visit the site. Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new claim!!!!! If you want to go out sometime shoot me a pm or email sdulbs@sbcglobal.net Sat and Sundays off. Or stop by the DNC warehouse and ask for Jay Knight.
  5. On a side note here Rob a Prospecting/ Atv /Motorcycle shop would be pretty darn cool. I've heard sales of motorcycles are up 30% due to gas prices.
  6. No doubt polaris will have a recommended product for sure. Good luck. But might want to try the pledge or plexis if it is not too faded. Like T bone said don't get it on the seat or it will be slicker than goose poop on a pump handle(not real good for staying on)
  7. Crap sorry Rob didn't know it's tape. Shouldn't use the simple green and never the green scrubby deal. Lemon pledge does work good on plastics too.
  8. Rob you can use a heat gun CAREFULLY and it will back color. I would try some simple green first with one of those green scrubby things lighty in an area you don't look at a lot. Or I've had great luck with Plexis (motorcycle shop) if they are not too faded. Fishbone I rock a klr out to some old spots to detect sometimes. The qaud thing is little tough for me to put together right now but certianly understand how you feel. The darn detector is worth more than bike. Good luck One of those polaris's with the racks and boxes is the ticket for sure.
  9. Easy way to do it is a subdredge. There's a couple of 6" and a whole bunch of other stuff on ebay right now. For like 800 bucks. If you had a 4 inch pump and motor you just need a long pressure line and 20 foot of hose cut to the pay layer then highgrade with the suface dredge. They cut fast with half the power needed since your not pumping the material above the surface. But your major problem is the rock for sure not only pigs but all th larger than 6 in rocks. With the subdredge you can shoot it straight out the side of your hole which be pretty handy. If your cutting 15 foot deep you should tier the front of the hole out 20foot out cut 4 foot 15 foot cut 4 feet and so on (this is easy with a subdredge shooting sideways) But with the tier your less likely to get bound up and smacked a 15 foot wall of rocks. Righ now I use a honda 6.5 and p180 to run a 5 inch with 15 foot of hose works for me same motor for the 3 inch combo. Just an Idea. Good luck Jay
  10. Vini Dan went down to that dam last year and run a sluice did a lot better in the bank than in the river. I hate to hijack Matt's thread though. Pm me and we can get some plans going for next week. Jay
  11. Vini yeah the power was slow to come back on but were still on a huge generator at the sub station. Last I heard there was 1000 pge people working on the line. It turned off again today for a while but now it's back. I'd love to be dreging this weekend but I have to do a motorcycle ride this weekend with the old man(not that that's not a blast too) Might be able to slide down sunday and say hello. I think bedrocks where it is at man. You've seen that blaster dan and I have it rips bedrock like it's goin out of style. Me and my brother spent a day with zippy or alex with his 6 inch overburden was like 8 feet kind of sucked but no monster toads that couldn't be moved. But honestly the pay was about the same just more coarse. Problem was the amount of bedrock we hit me and my brother dredged about 50 foot by 10 foot with average 3 foot over burden. Like I sad payed the same for us. Best of luck fella. What you should do is ask chuck where he's getting the pictures from treasurenet. pretty maybe it was kuger any ways pretty pics. got to run Jay
  12. Matt glad to see you made it through. I know it was rough. We got pretty lucky in the park only smoke and no power. Just came back yesterday. If you need any help getting your place back in shape give me a holler. Jay
  13. I don't know what you guys are talking about. I live in a 2mile by 8mile smoke holding canyon with 2000 foot walls. Up wind of all those fires on the south side of the park. I've been out of work for 2 days cause I can't breath. Oh well should make some interesting hunting areas for the season.
  14. The last I read in the news was the guy with the money and the guy with the location had a blowout. And the government wanted more tests before digging. I think is was on yahoo news a week or 2 ago.
  15. Vini it's not like your not trying keep it up. One day you'll go from fly speck to elephant poop. Hope you find a nice streak in there you deserve it man. Jay
