rexb
Thought this looked kind of interesting, anyone tried something like this? Solar charger for Minelab GP detectors:http://cgi.ebay.com/Minelab-Solar-Charger-GPX-4500-4000-Battery-Coil-/260621775110?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cae44b106#ht_500wt_942
nvchris
My method is to use a small solar panel to keep my RV batteries toped off then charge off them. I have tried it direct from the panel to minelab GPX, it took about 6 hours to charge it. BIll needs to put more info in the listing. Like the output. The one I have is 14VDC, 750mA it clamps to the voltage of the battery your charging. Is enough to maintain my RV batteries $169 at John's Detectors
Mitkof
Hi Chris, that's the best way I've found also... solar charge my RV, then re-charge MD battery off my RV 12volt plug-in.
