I thank all of you who have... or will... wish me a Happy

Birthday... Now number 78 (or 39x2). But remember

"old age" is always(!) defined as being 10-years older than

you are...

So... I wish all of you that are now 88 or more... may you

continue on... heathful and enjoying the goodstuff. This to

include those of you that have had birthday 98 or more.

I celebrated by going to the dentist (non emergency, by

appointment made before Christmas.) Another

root-canal... But: Happy I be to be in health to go

and have one done. Also Happy I be (since I no longer

have dental insurance) to be able to pay for it. Better

yet: Happy I be to still have teeth savable by having a

root canal.

AND THE BEST: MOST HAPPY I BE... To have friends who

wish me a happy birthday... (Also I will add: I understand

I will become a great-grandfather again... This will our

forth one... "when" I have no details; I first heard about this

from our oldest great-granddaughter, Bella, now five

years old.)

One thing I have learned over the years... both good and

bad times... Keep the Faith... Be positive... do not agonize

over small matters...

I now have a long and winding back trail... As I continue

down my front trail, I plan to more frequently stop and

small the flowers along the path... I'm in no rush to reach

my final destination.

Gosh all... what can I say...

I will try to respond... but if miss some... please understand my

"harddrive" memory bank is full...

Roy... I well remember Vol 2.... It was not published... just a few were

printed... maybe 10... by "Mountain Publications" before they moved to

Gloucester, MA. I sent you "printquick" (Staples) pages.

You had/have about the only copy of Vol 2... I have always felt bad that

it cost so much... having the pages printed at Staples... and poor quality...

THANK YOU for being so nice!

Hammer... You will be safe with me... as long as you know how to get there

and back... do you still have my e-mail address?... send me a shout!... I had

hoped to see you at he Costa Mesa GPAA gold show...

Rattlesnake... Give us a "Woody" report... he will be about 94 April??? Also

I hope you and "BL" have made contact.

Seeker... Young fella... You are in my thoughts...

Mike C... thanks for giving Steve your attention regarding the "bigfoot."

He really was glad to find one...

paleface... thank you... I'm winding down... just a few short articles and

hopefully(?!) a small booklet on meteorites.

Bandana... "Lunker Hill" ... Great memories...

hendo... all I need to do is smell the cork... My last beer was years ago

with Pieter H... He bought... I was too cheap to buy, grin. Great fellowship...

Maybe Mel Gibson will buy?

Reno Chris.... referring to my earlier post (above) the root canal became

infected... my voice went... I enjoyed meeting you and your lovely "misses."

To All... Grubstake, Sandtrap, Rob... and the others I have not personally mentioned

as this thread just goes back the last ten posts... and my memory is slipping:

Gold comes in many forms... Keep the faith... I once told a few years ago (the late)

Michael Paul Henson who was then a columnist for Lost Treasure... I said; [T]he older

I get the bolder I get." His response to me: "I like your nerve Straight."

I hope I do not get "out of line." I learn more and more from ALL of you...
