californiagold
HelloI got out today finally after nonstop rainstorms. Went back to last detecting site and tried a different spot. Got on a patch of small gold for 23 pieces. And 2.5 dwt total. Fors plus did an awesome job plucking the bounty from the dirt. Next up I will be testing out the Makro gold racer to see what it can do. Good luck

Tortuga
Pretty cool. Wondering if there's any deeper ones lurking for a PI detector to find.
californiagold
There is some patches of iron trash, but I will try through there with some discrimination one of these days. For now I was using all metal and just passing on the iron signals. Im waiting to get the gold racer to try out both detectors thru the iron. There is alot of areas for a pi detector. I am going to try the 5000 out with my 14" mono elite coil and a new 18" mono elite aswell. I panned a hill next to one of the diggings and it shows good color. The bedrock is a few inches to a couple feet on that hill. Not sure why the miners never touched that hill.
