californiagold Posted November 23, 2015 Report Share Posted November 23, 2015 Went out this weekend to try out my Fors gold plus test unit to see what it could do. Had no luck Saturday. So I switched to another spot today. Decided to try out the new concentric 10x5.5 coil and was surprised on how well it did. Found a couple tiny pieces with it. Then I tried out the dd 10x5.5 on some hotter ground. It performed very well and found even more good pieces including a 1/2 oz. Nokta once again built a very high quality detector that is definitely not the same as the original fors gold. I used a gb pro for a few years in the past and the fors plus is an obvious winner.
