Admin nuggethunting Posted August 24, 2015 Admin Report Share Posted August 24, 2015 Hello All, Gerry @ Gerry's Metal Detectors posted this find. There is a lot of debate about it .... depth of nugget, any detector could find it and more .....Regardless, I doubt anyone would turn it down whether it was a large quartz specimen on the surface or a hardrock pocket found in a mine. Here is what Gerry says about it - The "Life Changer Nugget" I was extremely fortunate to hold and video this mammoth of a gold nugget find. This monster 10 pound gold nugget was found by one of my customers with a Minelab Pulse Induction metal detector. What an amazing thrill the nugget hunter must have felt as he unearthed this piece. Certainly a museum quality specimen that deserves some attention. Notice, the newspapers and TV never got wind of this discovery, as the finder wishes to stay anonymous.
