My reason for doing so is I won't be able to attend the outing first weekend in November sponsored on another forum and thought a few others may have the same problem. So far those who said they would attend had no preference as to which weekend ... still open for suggestions or preferences. Nothing is planned as far as AZO or NuggetHunting sponsored activities. Nothing is being sold or bartered from either of these companies. It truly is just a group of folks going out for a hunt and a little BS and Beer around the nightly campfire. Please post or PM me ... on this forum or over to AZO... if you want to go and especially if you have a preferred weekend ... either way come join the fun ... and maybe find a nugget or meteorite.Thanks for allowing this post Rob ... Mike Furness Posted August 19, 2015 Author Report Share Posted August 19, 2015 OKAY ... IT'S OFFICIAL! First weekend of October ... October 2-4 Fri-Sun ... location the GPAA claim at Gold Basin. Directions and a map will be available when we get closer to the time. It has been suggested we do a pot luck on Saturday night October 3rd ... I'm not opposed to that if we have enough folks coming. If we have 8-10 folks or mor then lets have the pot luck if that is what you guys want to do. Again when we get closer I'll ask for contributions to the meal. The only other thing we will need is some firewood. I'm headed to the Basin Wednesday ... come up for a couple days of just a day if you can ... will be there until Sunday. Homemade chili potluck dinner(I made it yesterday ... needs to set a couple days to get good flavor!) on Saturday night.
