dave wiseman
It is sweet to dance to violins..it is delicate and rare..to dance to lutes and dance to flutes is way beyond compare...but it is not sweet with nimble feet to dance upon the air.....From Ballad of Reading Gaol by Oscar Wilde. fredm
I was amazed at the number of shafts that are all over the Victoria and NSW goldfields that I visited while touring with Doug Stone...you better be watching where your feet are stepping...very scary...fred

AuTSaurus
" ...but it is not sweet with nimble feet to dance upon the air..." ...which is what that fellow will be doing (or anyone) if that hole collapses, or caves in when someone is standing or walking on it. Tortuga
That's pretty crazy. I probably wouldn't even want to be where's he's standing, playing around with that hole.
oldies1955
Ill second that! Is it some old diggings? Figured if they were that close to the surface they would have just popped out?Weird.Tom H.

jim straight
Jennifer Thanks for sharing. Sinkholes can occur anywhere and for various reasons... "......to dance upon the air"would be true if the sinkhole happens to be connected to a large cavern; and as we know it is impossible to defygravity as Humpty Dumpty learned the hard way.... Again, thanks for posting this link as it to a series of video's. jim
