I have been planning and gathering permission for nine months. I hunted several days on the giant bedrock benches of the Rogue river, I had two days on private claims in Galice creek and two days on private claims on Graves creek. All this country is beautiful and lots of shallow bedrock. Good thing they call it prospecting and not gold finding because I brought back the skunk. All the research I did sure had me excited but on the bright side I met a lot of great people. Some times it works out and others do not.
