Maps to lynx creek campout

Recommended Posts

Here are some maps to the camp out at Lynx creek on the 29-31st of this month.

Dad and I will be camped out on the other side of Lynx creek.

Bannie mine road is 5 miles south after you turn off to go to lynx lake 69

We have a 25 ft class c rv and a green 87 4runner.

I will put a red flag on the antenna of the RV so you know its ours.

There is a mineral withdraw area that runs from lynx lake south to Walker. It follows the creek.

You cant use any mechanized equipment but detectors are ok.

I have met a few of the rangers and they are nice. Never asked me about the high water mark or anything.

They are running the roads pretty much.

We are probably going to be on the west side of walker road and also up Vault road that is south of Bannie mine road.

Hope some of you can make it.

Tom H.

Thank you for the maps. Really going to try and make it out. I am ashamed to say the sdc has been collecting dust as I've been busy dry washing before it gets to hot.

Noticed the site is in a claim. I take it we are ok to be in the area detecting? Is this due to the withdraw rules?
