The Best Thing About New Detestors

Recommended Posts

From coin to gold detectors you just look down above your hand and there is all the controls and for most you have a screen to view. It was the best thing when the ATX, SDC 2300 and now the GPZ 7000 came out with the controls up front. I just can't remember from one time to the next on the settings. With the new set up it's just a quick look and I know.

So many has said that the GPZ is simple to use because you have it all at your finger tips and I know the SD2300 is. Two great gold detectors and I have only one. That will bring a tear to your eyes.

We have now and with more great detectors coming out that will find coins and gold for you . Some have been on the market for years but only a few knew they could gold hunt with them.

Three more detectors by Fisher will hit the market soon. Fisher calls them F 11, F 22 and F 44 with all being called weatherproof .

You have Makro has just come out with the Racer but soon we'll see the Racer Gold.

We all know that Garrett has already have waterproof detectors on the market for some time. Others like White's have had some waterproof detectors but just a coin detector for land we have yet to see one. I don't think White's can sit on their hands too much longer. If they do they may be the ones left in the rain.

I know myself if it's raining I'm not going out in it. It would be great if one was caught out in some bad weather the detector would be the last thing he she as to worry about. Weatherproof has a good ring to it with less weight. The three Fisher detectors is only 2.3 Lbs. With no more weight than that I could swing it all day long.

Stand back guys you haven't seen nothing yet.

Hey Chuck,

I think the trend is lightweight and waterproof. If Minelab could get a GPZ or even a GPX unit into a lightweight housing that is waterproof, I'm not sure anyone would ever outperform them. The price is always a big thing, but if you want top of the line technology, you're going to pay for it. No question Minelab Electronics is state of the art, top of the line technology for metal detecting for gold nuggets, coins, relics and treasures.

Hey Gold Seeker

Your right I forgot about the Go Find detectors by Minelab. I need to do a find for some videos on them. Have you seen any info on how well they work? I know they have a look of their own and that coil is something different.

Rob

The only way you can cut the weight on Minelab detectors you have to have electronics that need less power to run. If you can do it what then will you give up? If it's depth then it's not a Minelab worth bring home.

If they ask you if you have a bad back because you're bent over. You just tell them no I hunt with a GPZ 7000 but I don't go home empty handed.
