fredm
Nice gold from yesteryear! I am still baffled by my inability to find gold back when "the pickin's were easy"...and still kicking myself for not figuring out the simple cause-not enough patience!fred

I was dredging a lot here in Az.Had a old bounty hunter metal detector. Found a lot of garbage with it! Then I dredged up a nice 3 oz nugget....belive it or not, lost interest, got married, had a kid...had to work..ect.Well, thanks to Boulderdash, Dad and I got back into detecting 3 yrs ago and have done very well. Sometimes I look back and say..."man! why didnt I stay in it and come up through the easy detecting time"But then I say "I wouldnt be having near as much fun now with Dad trapesing around the hills"Theres still good gold out there, just have to hike in a little farther. So, enjoy these days that we can still get out and do this Tom H. Relichunter2
I think many of us missed the train on the 80's and early 90's good gold pickin's, I know I did. But than again it's never to late to start gettin whats left. Theres still gold out there to be found...and the harder it is....the less competition for those who work hard to find them
