The one i saw was 8/28/15 about 6:15am. at this site two people reported seeing the same one a saw. Mary said she saw it fall behind a mountain. i think i know which mountain. If I could meet up with her that could tell me how far away it was from me. Also 5 peope reported it on this site. www.amsmeteors.org

Hello. There's no doubt this isn't going to be easy to find. That is going to be the biggest problem is how far was it from me but I do have a good idea how far it was. I think in my search area I'm covering farther then it was. This meteor wasn't shooting like some would. It was falling like if it was dropped out of a plane. So this is why there wasn't no sonic boom. I was so close to it I waited to see if I could hear it hit the ground. If I just marked the spot in the trees where it fall I would of already found it but now the search area is bigger. I been using my gps so I can keep a record of every place I walked. And I know how big it was. Like if it was a baseball or golf ball I may not even seen it. So it's no doubt of the sizes it is pretty big. I'm not even using a detector the crater should be easy to spot. I know time is of the essence. So far it's just been light rain in the area. If it hit in a wash then the next big rain it's lost. Now I only need to find it to verify what I've seen is true.

Well boys I was hoping to have photos of a meteor by now. About 6 weeks ago I was at my ranch which is pretty much out in the desert. The sun had just come over the mountains. I was out at the shop and I just turned north and saw what at first thought it was a really big white bird dive bombing. Far as I can tell it was about 1/2 mile to a mile away. So I looked to see if it would come back up if it was a bird dive bombing. But again I've never seen a big white bird ever dive bombing anyways. Lol. Then I realized it was a glowing white meteor. The way it was coming down was so surreal. If it was night then I would of right off knew it was a falling star. But with the sun up it looked like some kind of white thing. I'm thinking it could be as big as a football. It was a pretty big glow and should be a good crater. So about the first month I spent a hour or two at sunrise searching. I kind of stop for a couple weeks I was thinking about just giving up but I started looking again with some new enthusiasm. But I so blew it when it fell I should of really study the spot at where it fell, now I can't remember. I have a good landmark. These big power lines that run across in the area. When I first was looking to see where it fell I was thinking it fell to the right of the one power poles. But now I'm questioning was to the right or the left or even farther to the left or farther to the right. I so blow it. But every time I go I think is this the day I'll found the crater and the meteorite.

Hey Rob I was thinking the price and you can't change the coil but since it could be the only under water nugget detector then it does have value. Well everythings good. I did lose my gold fever lol. I do want to pick up a detector sometime down the road. I could spend my days Dredging but my back won't let me do that. Take care. Kim

Hey Chris I think your analogy looks pretty right on. I’m not sure if we have a different, but what do you mean about uplift? I don’t think Rich Hill itself uplifted, It may of uplifted with the hold high county to the North uplifted if that is what happened. I think Rich Hill and the land to the West North and South was all at pretty much the same ground level. And with the natural eroding formed Weaver and Antelope Creeks. Kim

Hey Doc Well I hope the Dems will do the county right but we know they can't. Here's something’s I think we are going to be in for. The stock market will drop 800+ tomorrow. We see gas go back up. After BO's done Electric is going to shoot through the roof. Then we know what comes after all this happens, high food prices and everything else. Not to say what he will do to the courts. Well the Dems plan worked. Do everything they can to put the county in a down fell and get the media to blame the Reps. It looks like we can just look back in history and this is what happen in Germany. In are schools these left wingers are teach are kids how bad the Reps and Bash are. Hey Digger You remember are old friend Terry? We plan to meet one time at Rye Patch. I made it to Vegas and had car problems. Terry made it and did some detecting while it was snowing. Lasted I heard from him he was raking the gold in off the beachesof Hawaii. With all the problems he had I think he went on to better hunting grounds by now. Hey Ron Your right that road is so bad. I was going to stop and talk to someone there at Stanton, since it because all the people living there and get them to do something to fix it. If they just drag something like a fence everytime they needed to go to town it would be a lot better. Anyways I didn't think anything until you said something but my rearend is messed up to. What did you want to have refined the 100oz of nuggets or the 15oz or both? I wouldn't bother trying to have it refined. You can sale it on ebay and you should get almost spot and the nuggets will net spot +. It sounds like you have about $70,000+. Kim

Well sometime around 1988 the first minelab detector was the 1500. Then a few differents 1600. Then the 1700 1800 Eureka 2000 2100 2100v2 2200 2200v2 GT 3000 3500 4000 and some I missed. I guess up to date there is about 20 detectors in 18 years. If my math is right in 10 months there will be the 4500, then in 20 mo then the 5000. Kim

I don't really think you can hurt the value of nuggets, coins are another story. I do think the best way to clean gold is to put in some kind od container with finer size gold. Here's some pictures of a large container that I'm cleaning a few oz at one time. I just uses water and I will just carry it in my pocket for weeks. I think if some nuggets had a bad clean job you could do this to make them look better, but to clean gold with gold is the way to go ld. Kim
